Since 1989 the “Università del Teatro Urbano Fabrizio Cruciani” is in charge of the didactics. It was founded and directed by the group, after having given workshops and conferences at the Actor’s Studio and at some english Univer-sities, in order to deepen the knowledge of performing techniques. A scientific committeee of italian and foreign university professors gives its contribution to this project so to create a space of theatrical research available to the youth.
All this gives birth to the spectacular project called “urban theatre”. Its aim is to present theatre pieces specifically created in city places (urban sceneries) where people (spectators) come together for absolutely different reasons (for example, in the underground).
